Your Terms and Conditions section is like a contract between you and your customers. You make information and services available to your customers, and your customers must follow your rules.
Common items in a terms and conditions agreement allow you to:
R3E Drone Photography prefers to quote on an individual project basis, after having discussed and been fully briefed on the proposed project.
Each job is unique with many variable factors. A client may require a just few local, aerial photos or the project may include a full media package with film creation, music licensing and animated graphics.
There are a number of items which may affect the quotation including the time of year, location of the shoot, potential weather interruptions, safety concerns, and other associated risk of the job. We must also get approvals from all parties concerned for site visits and/or access to the properties prior to beginning a project.
Travel expenses for local jobs (within a 50 mile radius of zip code 33414) are covered in the agreed project price. Jobs booked beyond the local area (beyond a 50 mile radius of zip code 33414) will be billed an additional $1.00 per mile beyond the 50 mile local radius. For example, if your job is 65 miles from zip code 33414 (as shown on Google Maps) then the additional charge would be $15 for the distance beyond the local service area. If accommodations are needed, additional costs will be agreed upon with the client beforehand.
PAYMENT TERMS: 30 Days (unless by prior agreement / discussion) with 50% of the fee to be PAID IN ADVANCE to secure the booking (unless by special circumstances or if time doesn’t permit).
We are open to discuss any of the above with you in greater detail and will work with you to create a fair and reasonable agreement.
We are able to provide a written quote once we have received a full brief from the Client and discussed the requirements and expectations of the shoot.
Due to the nature of weather and the unique requirements of requested projects we strive to be very flexible when working with clients. Many of our jobs are booked at the last minute. However we must have enough time to do pre-flight checks and ensure that the job can be undertaken safely, adhering to the rules & regulations of FAA Remote sUAS Certification and commercial operations.
We are happy to pencil in potential jobs and dates for Clients. However, actual bookings where deposits have been paid will always take priority. Naturally, if a booked project is cancelled we will contact the potential clients and let them know their desired time is available.
Due to the nature of the drone aerial imaging industry and working with a number of projects that require post-flight editing and adjustments, we do require our clients to commit when booking our services and time. Unless by special circumstances or if time doesn’t permit, we require a 50% deposit of the booking to be PAID IN ADVANCE.
Remote controlled aerial filming is naturally affected by the flying conditions. If due to weather (i.e. rain, strong winds etc.) we are not able to shoot we will not charge the client and we will make alternative arrangements for the shoot to happen at another time. The 50% booking fee will be transferred to another day when we can shoot.
Unless imaging, photos, videos, etc. is specifically agreed and contracted as “no other use”, R3e Drone Photography retains the copyright of all imaging, photos, video content, etc. The client purchasing the service of R3e will get full use of the material, however, they will not be able to sell the footage or allow 3rd party companies to use it without the agreement of R3e.
Naturally we are proud of our work and R3e actively promotes its capabilities and we reserve the right to use ANY of our imaging, photos, video content, etc. for self-promotion. This includes but is not limited to, posting on our website, mail outs, emails, hard copy brochures or other types of media for PR purposes to high light R3e. Also we reserve the right to supply our imaging, photos, video content, etc. to stock libraries at a later date.
If you have any questions or issues with any of the above claims, we ask you to kindly speak to us in advance of our creating any imaging, photos, video content, etc. We will work with you on a satisfactory agreement that will provide you the resources necessary to successfully complete your project.
